This program is specifically designed for adults aged 18-65, with a focus on individuals from low-income backgrounds and those with criminal records. It offers a comprehensive suite of services to help participants prepare for employment or further education opportunities. From job training and career development to supportive services, bridge programs, life skills workshops, and financial empowerment through the Money Boot Camp, Jobs Readiness-Marlboro aims to equip its participants with the tools they need to succeed in the workforce. One of the key goals of the program is to train and prepare a minimum of 100 individuals for employment or school within its first year of operation. To achieve this, Jobs Readiness-Marlboro is actively collaborating with local community organizations, municipal leaders, employers, and faith-based communities to create a supportive network for participants. Furthermore, the program is committed to fostering unity within the community by partnering with various government agencies and community organizations. By evaluating and tracking outcomes, Jobs Readiness-Marlboro is ensuring that the program is effective and sustainable in the long run. Through its holistic approach to workforce development, Jobs Readiness-Marlboro is not only empowering individuals with the skills they need to succeed but also building a stronger, more vibrant community. By investing in the potential of its residents, Marlboro County is laying the foundation for a brighter future for all.
